Industry Leaders In The Cartage And
Application Of Fertilisers.
In 1946 Noel Thomas (Tom) Wealleans, a farmer’s son and milk delivery contractor, began spreading bagged fertiliser from the back of a truck.
He was convinced that our land had the potential to become one of the best farming areas of the world and that fertiliser held the key to success.
Over 67 years on, the company Tom founded has grown to become the largest privately owned groundspreading business in the southern hemisphere.
Successive generations of the Wealleans family have shared Tom’s vision to develop a group of entities that today operate a combined fleet of 65 specialised groundspreading vehicles applying in excess of 250,000 tonnes of agricultural fertilisers per annum.
Focusing on the rural market has allowed Team Wealleans to expand its operations into petroleum distribution, bulk cartage and engineering and manufacturing enterprises.
From its head office in the farming rich Hinuera valley and with a key focus on the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region, Team Wealleans is ideally situated to service the best farming area in the world.
