The Wealleans Group of Companies is a family owned and operated business with its Head Office based in Hinuera, rural Waikato. We operate seven business entities specialising in the cartage and application of nutrients to agricultural markets throughout the Waikato, Bay Of Plenty, King Country and Central Plateau.
The Finance Manager is the senior executive responsible for the accounting and information systems to ensure accurate financial control and management reporting.
Key to this role will be your expertise in the presentation of monthly accounts with a particular focus on the timely preparation of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow reports. An understanding of general ledger transactions and relevant controls is also required.
Your leadership skills in overseeing the general office administration functions will include recruiting and developing the onsite admin support role. Management of the payroll system, internal treasury and finance, and loan transactions will also form part of your role as will the responsibility to calculate tax returns including GST, FBT and PAYE in conjunction with the group’s external accountants.
If you have at least 3 years’ experience in preparing monthly accounts, a Commerce degree or relevant finance qualification and the ability to adapt to new software systems, then this varied role will challenge and interest you. There is scope within this position to consider flextime, a full or part time appointment.
